No plans for Queen's birthday? Take your paddling to the next level on with the 3D Rotorua Off Road Multisport Festival on 3 June 2012.

This is a fantastic event through incredibly scenic countryside. You can either enter the 8km paddle leg or do the whole event by yourself or as part of a team. There are other events, like a 2km bush run for under 10's, so the whole family can participate and have a day to remember.

The 3D Rotorua has a great atmosphere, there are fabulous spot prizes to be won (including a Liquid Stixx Stand Up Paddleboard!) and nothing improves your performance like a bit of healthy competition. The Cambridge to Hamilton race was a big success! Thank you to all of the participants and supporters that helped make this event a great one.

There wereover 30 Stand Up Paddleboarder’s competing ranging from novice to pro.

We hopethat this race has raised awareness about what an awesome sport SUP is.

The conditions were a bit harsh as the river was flowing very low and for some periods there was heavy rain.

It was heaps of fun though.

We are hoping to at least double the number of SUP’s next year.

This goal should not be hard as we are expecting a bumper season of people wanting to get out and try Stand Up Paddleboarding this summer.

Become a part of the Hamilton River Festival

Come to the Waikato and join us for a fun filled day on 18 September 2011. There are two events open to all classes of boats including Stand Up Paddlebaords. Choose from the 23km (full) race or 11km (half).

Liquid Stixx would like you to come and raise awareness about this awesome sport.
